GENEVA - The auctioneer Sotheby's said Monday that the rare pink diamonds (pink) worth up to 38 million dollars (28 million euros) will be sold in Geneva next month, one of the diamonds title "the most desired stone in the world." "Fancy Intense Pink Diamond" 24.78 carats mounted on a ring coming from private collections, auction house said.
Gemstone, ranking among the type of record only two percent of the diamond, last seen in the market about 60 years ago when it was sold by the legendary American jewelry, Harry Winston. "During my career of 35 years at Sotheby's I had the opportunity to examine many gemstones grand and rare and, simply, this stone is one of the diamond is most desirable that I have ever seen," said David Bennett, chairman for Europe and the Middle East at Sotheby's international jewelry department.
"What makes it so very rarely is a combination of exceptional color and purity of the classic emerald cut - cutting force usually associated with white diamonds," he added. Sotheby's provides pre-sale estimate of 27 million to 38 million dollars to fancy pink diamond, which is going under the auction hammer on 16 November.
Blue, pink and green color diamond is currently the most sought-after gemstone at auction, according to auction house. Some elite including rival auctioneers Christie's hold sales of jewelry every year at the luxury hotels in the western Swiss city during one week in spring and autumn.

Onch memang cukup dikenal sebagai seniman aksesori bertema unik. Selain imitasi daging, perancang pernah mengikuti reality show 'Paris Hilton's My New BFF', ini juga membuat cincin berbentuk krim lengkap dengan hiasan buah cherry. Ada juga kalung berbentuk lolipop warna neon, pretzel, dan kacang. 

Balutan busana berbahan daging mentah tak hanya ditampilkan Lady Gaga di ajang MTV Video Music Awards 2010. Penyanyi eksentrik ini juga tampil dalam balutan bikini berbahan daging mentah di sampul majalah Vogue Hommes Jepang, edisi September.

Di saat pelaku fashion menangkap penampilan itu sebagai tren, kelompok pecinta binatang internasional, PETA, justru melancarkan gelombang protes. PETA menganggap aksi Gaga sebagai bentuk penyiksaan dan eksploitasi binatang.
